A reminder that less really can be more

Just because a piece of design is simple doesn’t lessen its design credentials. In fact simple is very often more difficult to achieve. The Eclipse sterling silver bangle, designed in 2014 by Emma Jane Champley, was included in an article by Gemma Tipton in last weekends Irish Times. It’s a reminder that while design can be bold, audacious and daring, it can also be, to quote the description, ‘ultra-restrained and understated’.
